Florián (Santander) is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in Colombia. An unknown natural paradise for lovers of photography and nature. Its main attraction is the Tisquizoque Windows, an impressive 300-meter waterfall that emerges from a cave on top of the mountain, simply, an incredible landscape. But this beautiful town offers us other interesting destinations to photograph such as Paila Pound and Blue Pound.
This Tour is designed for photographers of any level who wish to practice landscape photography in natural locations and enjoy nature. You will have my permanent advice to solve any question that you may have; to give you useful theoretical and practical advice to take photographs and to explain you how is my process of creation and image taking. As if that were not enough, in addition to our local guides, we will have the company of our partner Germán Moreno, travel blogger and founder of Colombia Travelers who will tell us how to undertake travel projects around the world.
Day 1, Friday, May 1
At 6:00 hours we will take our private van from Avenida 72 with Carrera 7 in Bogotá DC towards the municipality of Florián - Santander (estimated 6 hours) Upon arrival we will check into the Guaimaral hotel (single room) and have our lunch. Then we will go up to the Tisquizoque Windows to photograph the impressive cave where the waterfall is born, and the best, to photograph the sunset from this wonderful place.
Day 2, Saturday, May 2
After breakfast, at 7:00 we will leave the hotel to photograph Blue Poundl, a beautiful place of crystalline waters just 15 minutes by car from our location. Our next destination is one of my favorite places, Paila Pound, a site that will offer us multiple opportunities to enjoy photography. After our lunch, we will go down to the place where the Tisquizoque waterfall ends where we will find excellent locations to photograph it. To say goodbye to our tour we will return to the cave where the waterfall is born to take pictures of the sunset.
